We are sooooo thankful that we made it to the US on our flights! Thank you so much for remembering us...I really am convinced that we made it because of all the people thinking of us...it really was nothing short of a miracle!
Since our airport is infamous for flight delays and cancellations, we were hoping that there would be no delays because of our tight connection. But when we arrived at the airport, and they told us that there was no way to check our luggage all the way through to the US, we knew our chances of making our connecting flight weren't good (as we only had an hour and ten minutes). Miraculously, our first flight took off and landed 20 minutes early (unheard of at our airport!), which is what saved us. As soon as we landed, we RAN to get our luggage and then check into the international leg. I have never run so fast while carrying a 20-some pound baby! We arrived at our gate sweating, but in time to pre-board with the rest of the families. AND we even got the whole row so that Noah had his own seat!! Noah did really well on the flight and is slowly getting over jetlag.
We're so thankful...it was a crazy adventure, but we're grateful to Him for making it all happen and to all of you for remembering us through it all!
