Well, it took two days to get here because of where we live, but we're now in Thailand, enjoying the warm sunshine and the luxury of not having to feel cold all the time (and lots of other "luxuries"). The first day of traveling was great. The second was not so great (it was pretty bad, to be honest). The flight was so turbulent that Noah, for the first time on a plane, ended up throwing up everywhere. But we survived, and we'll continue to travel the world. Traveling with a kid definitely isn't always easy, but we're having so much fun that it always seems worth it in the end.
We're enjoying a week of vacation before meetings begin. Richard's highlights: warm weather, swimming pool, and good food. Esther's highlights: not having to clean or do dishes, fresh seafood, and seeing the beach. Noah's highlights: pool time, playing in sand (much nicer than the long jump pit), seeing a train, riding in tuk tuks, and buffet breakfast everyday (I've seriously never seen him eat so much in the morning). We love vacation!
