Goodbye

One of the hardest things about living here is the transient nature of our lives.  Before college, I lived in one house all my life.  Many of my close friends have known me since elementary school.  I've never had to say so many hellos and goodbyes before living abroad.

One of the hardest goodbyes came last week when our dear friends (who have also been our neighbors for the past few years) left for another part of the country.  Of course we know we'll always be friends, but it's been really special to share our lives here.  They are some of the few people who know our lives both in the US and overseas.  On their last day, Noah kept blowing kisses to them!  We miss them all already...and Noah sure does miss playing with A&T!  We're glad we all got to spend lots of time together in their final weeks here!
