Fun Week

It took 9 hours, but we finally arrived on Thursday night. It's been a really great time of eating TONS of delicious food, seeing friends/family, and enjoying a more convenient lifestyle. Here are some pictures:

With all the traveling we do, Noah has definitely had some good trips and not-so-good trips. But on this trip, Noah did an awesome job traveling. He took his morning nap on the plane and then his afternoon nap on the train.

Seeing our friends J&L and their baby girl was such a treat. AND they were kind enough to let us stay at their AWESOME 2-bedroom apartment while they were off on their own travels. It has been such a blessing to have a place to stay that is fully furnished with everything I need (crib, stroller, changing table, etc.) for Noah.

We've been taking lots of public transportation, so Noah quickly learned to hang on to the bar since that's what everybody else was doing!

A huge reason we wanted to spend a week here was so that we could spend time with my cousin and her husband, N&D. We moved overseas around the same time, and it has been such a blessing to get to see them pretty often....probably more than we ever saw each other when we both lived in the US! We thought this might be one of our last times to hang out - so sad! But we made the most of it as they treated us to eat some amazing food over the weekend. 

For lunch, we had delicious dim sum.

Then later, for dinner, they took us to a restaurant that earned 2 Michelin stars! I've never been to a restaurant that's earned a Michelin star, so it was a HUGE treat. And in case you were wondering, yes, the food was absolutely amazing! I can't believe Noah got to eat such yummy, fancy food! Thank goodness he behaved himself!

This is Noah's first trip to a library - ever! He loved the books, but he did get shoosh'ed by the librarian!

Noah has also never gotten a kids menu before tonight. He loved playing with the crayons...before I took them away since he stuck it in his mouth!

Noah's really into giving people "cheers" when he drinks his milk. Here he is with daddy, LOVING his first meal at Outback Steakhouse. It's official, he loves baby back ribs!
