Whenever we travel to a big city, we're always sure to visit McDonalds. There's something special about eating a Big Mac, chicken nuggets, and fries when you don't normally have that option.
But the really special thing about this past weekend was having one of my girlfriends fly up to come visit us for a few days. I've known M since junior high (!), and she's one of the few people who know the world I grew up in and the world I live in now. It was so much fun to stay up talking, buy croissants, and go shopping at H&M together!
