Fireworks

For the past few hours, we've had almost non-stop fireworks and firecrackers going on outside. While it was fun to imagine that we were at Wilson Park watching them with our friends (I confess that I was singing patriotic tunes to go along with the show), there's a part of me that can't help but be annoyed since I wish that Noah could just a quiet night's sleep (especially since he can be a light sleeper). Yet I'm amazed that he's sleeping right through it. Even I think it's loud! I've watched him (in the baby monitor) open his eyes wide while they're going off, only to decide that he rather go back to sleep. No crying, no complaining...he just rolls over and keeps on sleeping. I'm so impressed. I love my kid.
