Traveling

We're back from a long weekend trip with friends.  It was SUCH a great time hanging out with two of my college roommates (one of whom has known me practically my whole life) and their husbands.  We ate lots and laughed lots...good times!

Thankfully, Noah did a fabulous job traveling.  Although he wasn't as giggly as normal, he stayed mellow and content through the missed naps, late bedtimes, and schedule changes.

The original plan was for Richard to bike the city wall with our friends, while I took Noah back to the hotel to nap.  Needless to say, my adventurous husband decided that Noah would be fine to come along for the ride.  Sure enough, he slept through about 80% of the 1 1/2 hour bike ride.  It was a pretty impressive sight, considering that some parts were incredibly bumpy; what a tough kiddo!

Noah got wiped out and fell asleep on our friend's lap on the plane ride home.  It's always nice to have extra hands when traveling with a baby!

Not only is hanging out with old friends such a blessing for us, but Noah also loved the extra love and attention!  Thanks, L&R and B&A for loving on our son!

(Thanks to AL for taking the first two pictures!)
